Recently, in the Dominican Republic, a team visited Nikki’s home to paint. During a conversation, Nikki shared that while she believed Jesus was real, she did not know Him personally. When asked about a relationship with God, she responded, “One day, just not today.”

Although the team was not scheduled to return, they felt led to visit Nikki again the next day. As they shared the Gospel, Nikki chose to place her faith in Christ. Unbeknownst to them, her father had been listening nearby. After hearing the conversation, he joined them in prayer and also accepted Jesus.

Nikki later shared that her heart felt lighter and that she was already experiencing the peace of Christ. The team provided Bibles for her family, prayed with her again on a later visit, and encouraged her as she planned to begin attending a local church.

This story is a reminder that God is always at work, drawing people to Himself, and that we are blessed to witness the fruit of seeds faithfully planted.
