This past weekend, Mission of Hope hosted a three-day marriage retreat in the Dominican Republic for more than 20 Community Partnership pastors and their spouses.



The retreat focused on intentionally choosing your spouse each day- through service, communication, and living on mission together. In addition to teaching sessions, couples had time to rest, reconnect, and invest in their marriages.

For many of the pastors and their spouses, it was their first opportunity to stay at a resort and step away from the demands of daily ministry.

One participant shared, "When we heard about choosing to live on mission together, my wife and I wrote out a mission statement for our family. We want to have a shared mission and be intentional about how we live it out."

It was a meaningful weekend that encouraged couples, strengthened marriages, and will continue to bear fruit in their families and communities.
