2024 Mid-Year Impact Report

We are halfway through 2024, and we want to share with you the impact you’ve made on the lives of men, women, and children in Haiti and the Dominican Republic so far through church advancement, education, and food security.

While the situations the people of Haiti and the Dominican Republic have experienced this year are full of immense hardships, your support has helped equip and reach people in desperate need of hope.

We have seen God do miraculous things in this first half of the year. One miraculous moment was when, after being closed for months, the Port-Au-Prince port temporarily reopened at the end of May, and within 72 hours, our Haitian team delivered 1.684 million meals throughout Port-au-Prince.

Your gift makes a real impact and is greatly needed to continue to provide for the most vulnerable while sharing the hope of the gospel.

Please continue to pray for our courageous staff in Haiti and the Dominican Republic as they strive to “be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, and faithful in prayer.” They are truly living out the gospel in the midst of a broken world.

Francenia’s story is one of resilience and faith. Neika's Story of Hope Neika, a student in one of the schools in our nutrition program, recently shared her story. "When my mom was pregnant with me, my dad left. My mom was always the one who took care of me. And then, in 2021, my mom died. I can still remember the day so clearly. I felt so hopeless when I lost my mom. I didn't know what would happen to me. My mom's cousin is a teacher, and she and her husband took me in to care for me. They put me in school. I thank God for them every day. Today, I am in the 6th grade! And I love school. Math is my favorite subject—it makes me feel smart when I can solve a problem. I also love getting to be with friends at school and eating lunch together. The food helps us focus, which is important—especially during exam time. One day, I dream of becomin
