Hope for Her | More than Just an Event
Our Women’s Empowerment department hosted their Fall Hope for Her event this month in Jarabacoa, Dominican Republic. A total of 124 Haitian and Dominican women, along with 39 children from the Santiago and Jarabacoa areas, joined them for Women’s Day, along with 28 North American women. This was an incredible time of worship, fellowship and intentional ministry with Haitian and Dominican women.
At this event they also hosted a Girls' Day which was, filled with crafts, games, a Bible story, and a wonderful opportunity to pour into these future leaders. We are so thankful for the education centers in the DR that continue to pour into these girls, and encourage future generations to live a life for Jesus.
Hope for Her was a week marked by time spent with the Lord and in fellowship with Dominican and Haitian women, witnessing God move in powerful ways. Salvations, hope restored and lives changed were just a few ways we saw God moving this week. Women’s Empowerment seeks to bring life transformation for women through the hope, strength, and power of Christ. Our desire is for every woman to be empowered to follow Jesus, and through His power. Through ministries like Damas Juntas, Kleb Manman, Girls Empowerment, and many more, these programs will help meet their physical needs, nurture them, and help them understand their worth found in Jesus Christ.
We are so encouraged by these women and believe God will continue to bring radical life change through the resources you donate. Women's Empowerment stretches far and wide, helping women find their identity in Jesus. Thank you for your support!
